TripSpace
Trip Space is a new and innovative cultural space providing progressive activities for contemporary performance and social engagement. We’re situated in a converted railway arch in Acton Mews, just off the Regents Canal in Haggerston (Hackney).
Our passion is for dance, movement and yoga
We cultivate an environment in which the body, the ecology of the being and the social cultural landscape are engaged through a range of learning practices, artistic events, social interactions.
TripSpace welcomes contemporary choreography, improvisation and artistic forms of expressions that don’t fit mainstream categories
In addition to regular nights of cutting edge and experimental performance, we offer a variety of yoga, and professional dance classes with some of the best teachers in London including workshops led by top European professionals, all in our beautiful studio.
TripSpace evolved from the urgency of finding a permanent home for Trip the Light Fantastic Toe: a popular nomadic monthly event held in various venues across East London providing a merry platform for offshoots and derivatives of dance, performance and social gathering.
The desire of Trip The Light Fantastic Toe’s founders to find a base for their curation projects, their creative artistic practice and their event production brought Giuliana Majo and Montse Ventura to join forces with Peter Fiala to create TripSpace.
