Eglevsky Ballet was founded by legendary New York City Ballet principal dancer Andre Eglevsky, one of the greatest dancers of his generation. For over 50 years, Eglevsky Ballet has been bringing balletic artistry of the highest caliber to Long Island and has long been recognized as a prominent school and professional company.

Eglevsky Ballet’s mission for the academy is to enrich students and community through the disciplines of classical ballet. In addition to the pre-professional training program, the academy at Eglevsky Ballet offers a nationally recognized Kinderdance Program for its youngest dancers, three summer intensives, a spring workshop performance, master classes with national and internationally renown educators community outreach, and other educational platforms.
